At Children Helpers Foundation (CHF), we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to grow in a nurturing and supportive environment. Since our establishment, we’ve made it our mission to provide vulnerable children with not only the basic necessities of life but also the love, care, and education they need to become catalysts for change in their communities.
Our Vision
CHF’s vision is to create a pan-African movement that reverses the impact of colonialism through education, empowerment, and character development. We believe that the children in our care today will be the change-makers of tomorrow, and we are committed to helping them reach their fullest potential.
What We Do
At CHF, we provide a holistic approach to child care. Our services go beyond providing food, shelter, and education—we focus on developing the whole child by instilling values of trust, responsibility, and community leadership.
With the support of Learn Grow Lead USA, our orphanage shelters 26 children and provides them with:
- Education: Every child at CHF is enrolled in school, and we supplement their learning with extracurricular activities to promote critical thinking and creativity.
- Healthcare: Access to medical care is essential for the well-being of our children. We ensure that all our children receive routine checkups and any necessary treatments.
- Nutritious Meals: A healthy body nurtures a healthy mind. Our kitchen provides wholesome, balanced meals to fuel our children’s growth and development.
Empowering the Future
We are passionate about empowering the children in our care to become the best version of themselves. Through personalized mentorship, we encourage each child to discover their talents and dreams. Our goal is to raise confident, well-rounded individuals who can make a positive impact on society.
Helper Organic Farm: Sustaining Our Mission
Our journey wouldn’t be possible without the support of Helper Organic Farm, a horticultural enterprise committed to sustainable agriculture. By cultivating fresh vegetables, the farm generates funds that go directly towards covering the costs of running the orphanage and supporting the children’s educational needs. As we look to expand the farm by 20 acres, we aim to increase production and further secure the future of CHF.
